Color Kitchen Natural Food Dyes

Natural food dyes that are chemical free? Yes, please! I was so amazed when I found these food colorants. They are made of 100% natural ingredients, like beets, turmeric and spirulina. They are artificial dye-free, gluten-free, vegan and non-GMO.
The only other ingredients that it contains is Maltodextrin. Here’s what Wikipedia says about it:

Maltodextrin is a polysaccharide that is used as a food additive. It is produced from starch by partial hydrolysis and is usually found as a white hygroscopic spray-dried powder.[1] Maltodextrin is easily digestible, being absorbed as rapidly as glucose and might be either moderately sweet or almost flavorless (depending on the degree of polymerisation).
It is commonly used for the production of soft drinks and candy. It can also be found as an ingredient in a variety of other processed foods. Maltodextrin is used as an inexpensive additive to thicken food products such as infant formula. It is also used as a filler in sugar substitutes and other products.

The FDA considers maltodextrin to be a safe food additive, and most people can consume it in moderate amounts.
So as far as it goes, these food dyes look like one of the best and safest on the market. They are so much fun to bake with this. You can also use them for other DIY projects, like soaps and candles. The colors are vibrant and gorgeous!
