Castor Oil

I love castor oil and its countless benefits. The cold pressed castor oil is the purest of castor oils and doesn’t have any additional ingredients but the oil itself. Shiny Leaf Castor Oil is a premium quality. Here are some of my favorite uses and benefits:

- It relieves muscle soreness. If you tend to overwork your muscles now and then this would be your perfect solution. Use it as a massage oil by itself or mixed with essential oils.
- It helps with hair growth. Apply a few drops to your scalp and massage thoroughly. Cover your hair with a shower cap. Wash off in an hour. You might need to wash your hair 2-3 times. Your hair will get used to it eventually and it will be easier to wash it off. Make sure you don’t have any important events next day when you try this for the first time.
- It can thicken your eyelashes. Apply every night with an old mascara brush.
- It moisturizes the skin. Rub a few drops between your palms to warm it up, and apply to your skin. A little goes a long way.
- It extends your sleep. If you work crazy hours like me and your body has crazy bio clock this little trick will help you sleep full 7-9 hours during the weekend. Dab one drop on your eyelids when you go to bed.

That’s just the tip of an iceberg. Castor oil also helps to relieve the arthritis pain, has anti-fungal qualities, can be a good lubricant, can be used to ease a skin rash of your pets, it has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, reduces blood pressure and improves blood circulation, and much more!

Rose Absolute Oil

If roses are your favorite flowers the Shiny Leaf RoseAbsolute aroma oil will be your favorite one! Putting a few drops on my neck makes me feel like I’m in the middle of a rose garden. I’m absolutely in love with it!! I usually use it for aroma purposes, either directly on my skin or in my essential oil diffuser. However you can also use for therapeutic purposes to relieve your muscles pain or strengthen your hair. It is mixed with rosehip and jojoba oils that have a lot of amazing qualities on their own.

Copaiba Essential Oil

I’m a geek for essential oils. I was looking for a natural remedy from cold sores and stumbled upon the Copaiba Essential Oil. It has a very mild pleasant woodsy smell.  It is derived from a resin based plant in South America. I was very pleased to find out that there are so many additional awesome benefits to it:

• Eliminates the infection, can be applied directly to the wounds
• Reduces muscles pain
• You can use it as a home-made inhaler to treat the respiratory problems. My grandma recipe is to boil a pot of water, put 10 drops of essential oil into it, cover yourself with a thick blanket or towel over the pot, and breathe in for 10-15 minutes.
• It tightens the skin and helps to decrease the wrinkles appearance
• It heals the skin damage, such as acne and scars
• Improves the mood and helps with anxiety, perfect for bed-time diffuser

Tranquility Synergy for Anxiety Relief and Stress Support

Phytopia oil blend has the most pleasant smell! I’m not even a huge fan of all the flowery smells, but Vanilla and Sweet Orange tone out Geranium and Rose. All the ingredients are organic. It was a nice surprise, because usually when something is organic, the package screams about it. Phytopia product is modest about its quality. However I don’t have to be! Ozeri 360 Oscillation Tower Fan

This fan is perfect for my needs. I live in a hot place with 8 months of summer. I don’t like running the AC in the entire house when I work from home twice a week, and the only person in the house. I just want to cool down my work space. This fan is not too loud to disturb me from work. It’s powerful enough to keep the medium/large size space very cool. It doesn’t eat as much electricity as the AC.

You have multiple settings to choose from: 3 options for the air power, 3 room settings, rotation (still, 90, 120, 180 or 360 degrees), and auto mode. You can set the timer for up to 8 hours which is perfect for hot nights. The fan was easy to assemble, and very easy to use, especially with the remote control. An extra battery is included for the remote control.
